The Museum Tower is located amid museums, galleries, parks, and unique boutiques of The Museum District. But, what exactly is The Museum District? In the 1970s, Alexandra Marshall developed a plan to create a pedestrian-friendly district with the Museum of Fine Arts.  The Museum District evolved into an area with a 1.5 mile radius that includes 18 museums!  Our area is an enchanting, enriching cultural experience.  We are bordered by Rice University and the Texas Medical Center.  In 2008, on-site attendance to the museums exceeded 6.6 million!  Now, the Museum District is a thriving area of the City of Houston.   And, the best part is that we are pedestrian friendly, just as Alexendra Marshall envisioned.  We encourage you all to take advantage of all the art and culture surounding our beautiful high-rise!
